CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation) is the first global market-based mechanism for a single industry sector, designed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). It aims to stabilize CO₂ emissions from international aviation at 2019 levels through monitoring, reporting, and offsetting requirements.
From 2021 onwards, all international airlines operating between participating states are required to monitor their emissions, and from 2024, purchase eligible offset credits to compensate for emissions growth above the baseline.
Aviation is one of the core infrastructures of the Gulf region — with flag carriers, private operators, cargo fleets, and charters operating hundreds of international routes daily.
You are directly affected if:
Compliance with CORSIA is mandatory for international flights.
Non-compliance means reputational risk, operational restrictions, or loss of high-profile ESG clients.
We help aviation clients from the GCC and beyond to meet their CORSIA obligations efficiently and credibly
Setup of compliant tracking systems and annual reporting workflows
Sourcing and purchasing CORSIA-eligible credits (CERs, Verra, Gold Standard, etc.)
